Thank you very much for the stamps you collect for the Alliance Stamp Ministry. The income from their sale goes to support the preparation, publishing and distribution of a new Spanish-language curriculum for Sunday Schools in Latin America. More than 50 lesson series have been published and are being used in churches of 40 different denominations and missions in 15 Latin American countries.

 

In 2005, a total of $27,000 was realized from the sale of the used stamps. The grand total since the inception of the ministry in 1971 amounts to $579,361 (greater now because 2006 amounts have been added to it.

 

General Instructions:

1. Carefully trim me stamps. When possible leave a border around the stamp of 1/3" to 1/2". It is better to trim to wide than to close.

2. Place the stamps in a plastic bag. Do not use paper clips, rubber bands or saran wrap around the stamps.

3. Unless specified, all categories refer to United States Stamps. The stamps are sorted in the following categories (we can sort them for you):

·         All small common, 1/20 through 390

·         All Christmas together, Hanukkah together, Kwanza together

·         High value—anything over 390 together

·         Presorted, Pre-cancelled and Bulk rate together

·         Large commemoratives on white or light pastel paper

·         Large commemoratives on dark red, dark green or dark navy

·         blue paper

·         Express stamps $3.00, $8.75, $9.95, $10.95 and up

·         Priority stamps $2.40, $2.90 and up

·         Love stamps all together

·         Canadian commemoratives

·         Canadian small common

·         Canadian Christmas

·         Large foreign

·         Small foreign

 

Please do not send in the following:

     Small common, love, and Christmas stamps on dark paper (dark green, red, or blue)

     All metered postage

     All stamps that are preprinted on envelopes
